The Suffolks Markets that were planned for July and August are sadly not going ahead this year. The Suffolks markets are community events that attract large numbers of visitors in narrow streets that often become very crowded. The main market streets of Suffolk Parade, Suffolk Square and Gt Norwood St are both residential and commercial, so there is the added consideration of stalls outside house front doors. We are very sad that these two popular summer events are not able to happen this year, but are hoping that we will be able to go ahead with the October and November markets events.

Best wishes to everyone, and please stay safe.

Our Markets

The Suffolks Markets are reclaiming the streets for five  Sundays in 2020.

Organised by The Suffolks Traders Association, selected stall holders are invited to join us in trading for the day.  They are carefully curated, featuring Arts & Crafts, Designers & Makers, Vintage and Food & Drink.  The emphasis is on local and all are independent.

The ‘Toe in the Water’ pitches have been developed to encourage new entrepreneurs to have a go at trading.

Each market has an additional attraction – Jazz Fringe, Dog Show, Harvest & Halloween, check out the markets to find out what is going on.

If you are interested in trading with us – please get in touch. Buskers – we’d also love to hear from you.
